Fort Wayne, IN March 4, 2019 – Sari Bari USA, Inc. announces the release of their 2018 Sari Bari Annual Report sharing important information demonstrating the impact of supporters in the USA and programming available to women employed by Sari Bari in Kolkata, India.Sari Bari offers employment to women who have been exploited by the sex industry or who are vulnerable to human trafficking. Women who accept employment with Sari Bari are trained as artisans and create beautiful, hand-made products made from recycled saris. Additionally, the women of Sari Bari have access to programs to support them on their freedom journey. Individuals choose to partner in the work of Sari Bari by purchasing Sari Bari products or by donating to support these programs. In an effort to celebrate the partnership of the women of Sari Bari with donors and customers, the 501(3)c based in Fort Wayne, Sari Bari USA, and the for-profit operations in India, Sari Bari Private Limited, released an annual report highlighting the successes of the past year.
